01 / The approach

Character starts
before the first word.

A persona carries a worldview, priorities, and a voice. Verco makes those inputs explicit, then uses a staged pipeline to shape an interaction.

Author a persona. Compile a runtime definition.

A deterministic compiler turns structured persona data into summaries, behavioral inputs, interpretation cues, and voice settings.

02 / The Persona API

One persona.
Two ways to interact.

Build a conversation, or ask a persona to choose from a defined set of options. Your application supplies the situation; the pipeline applies the persona.

Dialogue
A natural-language response in the persona’s voice.
Choice
An exact submitted option, with a separate spoken response.

The API requires issued credentials. Demo approval and API access are not an automatic self-service signup.

How do I get demo access?

Submit a request on the demo site using your Google-account email. Requests are reviewed manually, and access is granted only if approved. Requesting access does not immediately unlock the demo.

Are these personas models of real people?

They are synthetic AI personas, not validated psychological models. Their responses should not be treated as the views of a real person or as a representative sample of human preferences.

What does conversation memory mean here?

The pipeline uses bounded recent conversation history and a context-building stage. This is not a promise of unlimited memory or perfect consistency across interactions. The report describes caller-owned conversations and the current limits.

Is this ready for production use?

Verco Persona API is in private beta. Outputs can be inconsistent, and the implementation still has limits around history, replay metadata, reserved controls, and operational safeguards. Production reliability and comparative performance have not been established by the published report.

Can I use the API directly?

The API uses issued credentials. Include your intended integration in an access request; demo approval does not automatically provide an API key. The examples on this page explain the request shape and do not execute a request.
